Saturday With Nothing To Do (Ha, Ha)
We had a nice afternoon yesterday. Zara (aka "Dog Girl") came over to sit and visit for a couple hours. She talked about animal nutrition, dog training, and "Vegas" life. I intend, in the near future to devote an entry to introducing this wonderful person to all of you.
I was up early today and watched a PPV movie called COP OUT. It is a normal Bruce Willis look at life being a Cop. You know, funny and bullet ridden. It was an enjoyable two hours.
I used my brand new 900 MHZ set of headphones. The old set died last week. I have been using headphones for TV since I purchased my first set of TV EARS, then moved on to a much better SHARPER IMAGE pair, and now to a AUDIO UNLIMITED set. I use these because I can't hear TV with something to help me with volume. If I turn up the volume so that it is loud enough for me to hear it blows everyone else (including dogs) out of the room. Also, I can mute the TV so, no one else can hear it and continue to watch and listen with the headphones when everyone else is in bed.
My "Nut" Doc was here as he is every Saturday from about Noon to One-Thirty. We talk a little about my problems but, mostly we take about life here in Las Vegas including shows and restaurants. Then we move on to TV shows, new movies, and finally to computer stuff. He talks with both Libby and I during all this until we get on to the computer stuff. Then Libby makes a hasty retreat. She has been know to fall asleep during that part of the "Saturday Dr. Smith Show".
After I finish this journal entry I will take a nap, cut two melons up into a bowl, have dinner and watch TV. Tomorrow we are going to my Mom's to celebrate her 88 Th. birthday. It was actually Wednesday but, she had a friend from NJ staying with her and there was no reason for us to interject in to their couple days to enjoy each other's company. So, tomorrow is the day for us. There will cards, flowers, and a present. I will then make her favorite meal, Caesar Salad (homemade from scratch by me) and a nice juicy rib eye steak cooked on the grill.
I may not get here tomorrow but, will be back at some time on Monday which is a busy day with doctors and the chamber.
