Cripple Update

Hello to All,

I am getting better slowly. I can now type with two and sometimes three fingers. I'll be glad when the wrist is healed.

I have "PT" tomorrow, Primary Doc on Tuesday, and another Doc after "PT" on Wednesday. So I have some things to do this coming week. I guess it will all keep me busy.

We have strong winds and some showers here today. I think it will be headed out by tomorrow. I understand that in NJ on the first day of spring they had snow. I guess that is "par for the course" with the strange weather the east has had all winter.

I have a new printer that still isn't installed right. I've done something wrong with the installation so I guess I have to remove everything and start over. It all has to wait until I can use the hand and wrist again. This is very frustrating.

Well that's about it for now. I'll be back again soon to write a real entry. I started a Facebook page and have run into a lot of people that I knew from AOL Journals and from here. This is one very large community.

Getting Better

Hi All,

Stopped by to let you all know my wrist is a little better. The pain isn't as bad and I can now use my index finger of my right had to help the one on my left type. I still can't "make a fist" as it is painful and there is no grip.

Libby has gone off to the grocery store to get Mom's groceries for the week. The dogs and I are relaxing.

I'll be back as soon and I can type more than one wqord a minutes.

Let's give me a hand!!

Hello All,

It has taken me more that forty minutes to type this out with the one finger of my left hand. It has not been fun but, I wanted you all to know that I am still around even if I am not writing.

It is about impossible to use the mouse and the actual typing must be done off line on WORD and then cut and pasted here.

I will be back soon, I hope. No one has a decent answer for whatever is wrong with my right wrist and hand but, it is swollen and very painful. I am wearing a brace and doing some therapy to try and get the swelling and inflammation out.
